Easter Monday Open Day: Tea Room & Tours
A great chance for the general public to enjoy and support Northwood House this Easter Monday. The House will be open to all between 10.30am and 4pm where you are invited along to enjoy our tearoom in the Ballroom t operated by our hard working team of charity volunteers, where you can indulge in delicious tea and cakes through out the day. Our iconic House Bar will be open for drinks including our famous range of gin and tonics which are legendary the Island over.
If you ever wanted to find out more about the history of Northwood House then we will be offering a number of tours of the non-public side of the house on first come first served basis, including the fascinating house cellars. These operate for small groups between 11am and 3pm only.
As its Easter weekend, you can enjoy some chocolate challenges to help raise money for the charity, including guess the weight of the chocolate cake and guess the chocolate brands competitions.
The park’s tennis courts will be open through the day and will be hosted by our volunteers from “Tennis in the Park” who will be offering free children’s taster sessions for 6-10 year old’s with equipment provided. Just turn up on the day, but children must be supervised to take part.
